SaveOnGlasses is growing with more and more content. We still have big plans to come but here is a roundup about what happened since Launch.
Design Overhaul
Designs grow on use is something i like to think. This is why Save On Glasses changed in the last days and will likely change even more in the future. We drive to have a simple Interface that looks well and works well on all kind of devices. This is not always easy and comes with its very own pitfalls but with constant improvement only great things can happen!
Trustpilot Scores
One of our favorite new features are Trustpilot scores for nearly all listed Shops like you can see here with Zenni. Trustpilot is a nice thing to look out for when you don’t fully trust a shop. However as you can see it has downsides like smaller shops often have a bad score because only a few angry users commented so far and they don’t actively motivate their users to review them. So always take the scores with a grain of salt.
More Shops & Brands!
We constantly grow our Shop Database so you can compare more different shops before making a decision. A lot of these shops haven’t even made it to our list. Some maybe will come in future and some are likely simply not good enough to even recommend. Always be careful when you shop online, especially when your eye health depends on it.
Glasses for $10 or less
A new section of our Guide is Complete Prescription Glasses for $10 or less and soon also for $25, $50 and $100. Each category features different kind of glasses with a different focus on quality, features & lenses. We highly recommend to check out these lists to get a better idea what to expect for what price.
VKontakte
We have a VK Page too, this is experimental (at least for a while) because we want to take a look at the promising (second biggest?) social media website. We do not like Facebook so working with Facebook was no option anyway, but having a traditional community outlet may is a good idea in the long run. So there is that :)
